Part 1: Support & Comment on Teammates' Goals
Part 2: Possible Capstone Ideas
Taking into account my teammates interests and strengths along with my own, I could see our group possibly doing a game, app, or website for our capstone project. Some of my group mates wish to go into game design, and we all share a love for video games. In addition, I have some background in simple game programming as I have done this for previous final projects. I think our group is quite creative and could come up with something really fun should we choose to do a game. If we did an app, I would propose we do something related to a tracker of some sort: calories, health, exercise, mental health, sports, finance, etc. We have a good mix of skills between front and back end development, so we can create something both aesthetically pleasing and useful. If we created a website, I would offer the idea of completely rebuilding the website for my baseball league. There are so many complaints amongst players that the website is confusing, outdated, and ugly. Our skills in UX/UI and web development could make something much easier on the eyes and easier to navigate for the average user.
Part 3: Learning Journal
This week I learned more about prompting for AI and how to fine tune deliverables. Prompt specific engineering is an important aspect of using AI effectively. In addition, my teammates and I chose topics for our final video project. In our research, we learned about interesting topics such as robotic AI dogs and tiny robots modeled after bugs. Both are incredibly useful in society and the ecosystem, and I am excited to delve deeper into our topic as voted on by peers. I was hoping we would get the robot dogs topic, but am also interested to learn about tiny robot bees that work as pollinators and blend seamlessly into active hives. One of our optional lecture topics was about creating internship resumes, and I plan to model my internship resume after the examples given.
